Working Principle

Gas enters the engine from sources such as storage tanks, where it mixes with compressed air and is compressed by the piston. This increases temperature and pressure. The mixture then enters the combustion chamber and is ignited by the igniter. The resulting high-temperature, high-pressure gas pushes the piston downward, driving the crankshaft rotation. The engine transmits mechanical energy to the generator via the crankshaft. The generator converts this mechanical energy into electrical energy, which is ultimately delivered to the power grid or load through output cables.

Main components

Engine: The core component responsible for converting the energy of the fuel into mechanical energy, driving the generator to operate.
Generator: Typically a synchronous generator, it transforms the mechanical energy transmitted from the engine into electrical energy for output.
Control System: Used to regulate parameters such as fuel supply, engine speed, and generator output voltage, ensuring stable operation of the unit.

Fuel Type:

Natural Gas: Primarily composed of methane, it is a relatively clean energy source characterized by high combustion efficiency and low emissions.
Biogas: Produced mainly through the anaerobic fermentation of organic matter, it consists of methane, carbon dioxide, and other components, qualifying as a renewable energy source.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG): Its main components are propane and butane, exhibiting excellent combustion properties.

Precautions for use

1. The generator is not grounded when leaving the factory and must be properly grounded according tosite regulations.

2 .The unit must be placed in a location that ensures thorough ventilation, Closed workshops must beequipped with a forced ventilation system.

3.It is recommended to use flanges for gas pipeline connections, and strictly inspect them aftercompletion to ensure there are no leaks.

4.Special engine oil for gas generator sets must be used, and the coolant must use antilreeze with afreezing point lower than the lowest local ambient temperature.
